Mr Akmal Saif Chattha son of Ch Saif Ali Chattha was born at Alipur Chattha on November 8, 1973. He graduated in 1992 from F.C.College, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 200307 and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the next period in general elections 2013 and is serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Environment Protection. His grandpa, Chaudhry Bashir Ahmed Chattha, served as Member Punjab Assembly during 1972 77; his dad was Member of Punjab Assembly during 1988 90; his brother in law, Mr Shahid Manzoor Gill, also continued Member Punjab Assembly during 1990 93, 1997 99 and Member of National Assembly during 2005-07. His cousin, Mr Javaid Manzoor Gill served as Member Punjab Assembly during 200207 and functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Mines & Minerals.
