Lt Col (Retd) Shujait Ahmad Khan son of Ch Ahmad Khan was born upon April 20, 1947 at Narowal. He got the level of B.Sc in 1966 from Government Degree College, Sheikhupura. He was appointed in Pakistan Army in 1969 as well as retired in 1996. Throughout his service in Pakistan Army, he continued to be in numerous commands as well as team visits; and served in Inter Services Intelligence and Rangers. He belonged to Provincial Assembly of the Punjab throughout 2002-07 as well as 2008-13; as well as worked as Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab during 2002-07. He went back to the Punjab Assembly for the 3rd consecutive term in general political elections 2013 as well as was selected Parliamentary Secretary for Consolidation of Holdings and PDMA. The political election of PP-136 was declared gap by the Election Tribunal on April 17, 2014 and bye-elections was hung on May 22, 2014. Lt Col (Retd) Shujait Ahmad Khan objected to the political election and also was re-elected. He was reappointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Consolidation of Holdings and also PDMA w.e.f. July 16, 2014. His sibling, Chaudhry Shafaat Ahmed Khan was MNA throughout 1985-88.
