An agriculturist, that served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2008-13 and has gone back to Punjab Assembly for the 2nd successive term as a whole political elections 2013 against one of the seats reserved for women. She has actually seen Saudi Arabia and also Turkey. Her hubby, Mr Muhammad Afzal is a retired bureaucrat. Her uncle, Malik Muhammad Naeem Khan served as Member National Assembly for 3 successive terms throughout 1988-90, 1990- 93, 1993-96 and worked as Federal Minister; her sister-in-law, Ms Sumaira Malik was Member National Assembly throughout 2002-07, 2008-13 and also functioned as Federal Minister for Women Development and young people Affairs; and her brother-in-law, Mahr Rabnawaz Lak acted as Member Punjab Assembly throughout 2002-07 and 2008-13.
