An agriculturist, who served as Councillor, Municipal Corporation Faisalabad during 1991-93 and 1998 99; as Nazim, City District Authorities Faisalabad during 200508; and as Chairman, Bait-ul-Maal Committee, District Faisalabad. He was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013 and is serving as Parliamentary Secretary for Prisons w.e.f. 17 February 2017.
