After acquiring his early education from Aitchison College, Lahore, he graduated in 1995 from Government College, Lahore and also acquired M.Sc degree in (Textile Marketing) in 1999 from Philadelphia University, Philadelphia. He acted as Nazim, Union Council No. 110, Hujra during 2000-01; as Member of Punjab Assembly throughout 2002-07 and also 2008-13 and worked as Minister for Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering throughout 2003-07. He came to be Minister at really young age. An agriculturist, that has actually returned to Punjab Assembly for the 3rd successive term as a whole political elections 2013 and is working as Minister for Higher Education.
